Angora wins an honorable 2nd place

The Angora Manufacturing football team won last Saturday 07/16/2022 an honorable 2nd place in the 7-a-side Business League.

Our team participated for the first time in a football competition. In the first phase of this competition, it was in third position, thus qualifying for the national final held in Coimbra, where the 8 best teams in the country were present.

The draw dictated that in this final the first opponent was the Lisbon team "OLX group" where we left with a comfortable 4-1 victory, thus qualifying for the semi-final, where in turn we face the TBSS team and once again we emerged victorious from this time on penalties, thus being in the desired final.

The final dictated that we face again the winning team of the group stage of the north zone to AMTROL, where we left defeated by 5-1 thus dictating the 2nd place for our team where at no time stopped honoring our company.

If in the field we were in 2nd place, in the stands the 1st place was ours for sure in that we have the unconditional support throughout the tournament of employees, for this one a special THANK YOU for believing in us.
